Meet Our Practitioner
Carol Hefley, ND, C.Ac., NRTP, NET
Functional Medicine Practitioner, Certified Acupuncturist, Master Herbalist
Carol was born in Texas & raised in Oklahoma. Her senior year in high school was spent at the Tulsa area Margret Hudson school while pregnant with her oldest daughter. This was a turning point in Carol’s life. Mrs. Myrtle Watson, the school’s nurse, was the reason for this change. She was the first adult in Carol’s life to believe in her & encourage her. Myrtle pushed her to apply for college, which Carol never thought she’d do, as she was the first in her family to graduate high school.
Carol did graduate high school, as valedictorian. She took Mrs. Mrytle’s encouragement to heart & enrolled in community college. After getting a degree in Liberal Arts, Psychology, & Physical Science, she then graduated from the Biotechnology Program. From there she received a full-ride scholarship from Oklahoma State University where she went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Microbiology.
Post graduation, she went on to earn an internship at OSU and subsequently was hired on to work in their lab where she taught 8 interns of her own. During this time Carol presented at several national conferences to the nation’s top doctors and physicians. During all this, she had two more children. She then began working at a Holistic Clinic where she would stay for five years. Carol and her husband took in and adopted their niece and nephew making them a family of seven.
The holistic clinic is where she was introduced to Neuro Emotional Technique and Nutritional Response Testing and began to hone her own skills by going to school for these and the Naturopathic Doctorate Program and acupuncture school.
This brings us to the present and Carol deciding to open her own clinic to pursue her passion of giving people back their own power over their lives and their health!

Lindsay Rucker
Say hello to Lindsay, our Office Manager!
Lindsay & Carol have known each other for 15 years. Her education ranges from a degree in Infant & Childhood Development to on-the-job medical training from her eight years working in the healthcare field. She spent some of this in private care where her passion for helping people bloomed.
Lindsay is the mother of a 12-year-old boy who is the light of her life. She is looking forward to seeing you in the clinic.
